1936年6月出生于中国上海,就读于复旦大学物理系 (1954 - 1958)。丹麦哥本哈根尼尔斯玻尔研究所博士后研究员 (1963 - 1965)。复旦大学物理学教授 (1980 - ) 。中国科学院上海原子核研究所所长 (1987 - 2001)。复旦大学校长 (1993.2 - 1999.1)。中国大学校长联谊会创会会长 (1997 - 1999)。1991年被选为中国科学院院士。1991年被选为第三世界科学院院士。
著作: 与美国Vanderbilt大学杰出教授J. H. Hamilton合著的《现代原子与原子核物理》一书, 1996年由美国McGraw-Hill公司出版。
荣誉:1984年被国家科委定为国家级有杰出贡献的中青年专家; 1988年成为李政道教授主持的中国现代科学技术中心特别委员 1995年获日本创价大学名誉科学博士 1998年获美国纽约州立大学名誉人文博士 1999年获香港大学名誉科学博士 1999年获英国诺丁汉大学名誉科学博士 2002年获美国康涅狄克大学名誉科学博士

谢博德先生于2006 年1 月被任命为澳大利亚驻华大使馆公使衔参赞(教育、科学与培训)。
谢博德先生一直以来在不同的政府部门及教育培训这一出口产业中担任要职。他曾任澳大利亚驻香港总领事馆经济领事、设在上海的昆士兰州政府贸易投资中国代表处首席代表、昆士兰州政府国际教育与培训处主任、就职于澳大利亚教育、科学与培训部之前担任昆士兰科技大学国际部执行主任负责国际项目。
谢博德先生曾在台湾、香港和上海生活和工作达十多年。他曾就读于台湾师范大学、香港中文大学、格理菲斯大学(现代亚洲研究)和澳大利亚国立大学(国际法)。 |
Mr Scott Sheppard was appointed to the position of Minister Counsellor (Education, Science and Training) at the Australian Embassy Beijing in January 2006.
Mr Sheppard has held leadership roles across government and the education and training export sector. He has served at the Australian Consulate General in Hong Kong as the Consul Economic, as Queensland Commissioner to China based in Shanghai, the Queensland Government as Director of Queensland Education and Training International and comes to DEST from Queensland University of Technology where he coordinated the international programme.
Mr Sheppard has lived and worked in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Shanghai for more than 10 years. He has studied at Taiwan Normal University, Chinese University of Hong Kong, Griffith University (Modern Asian Studies) and ANU (International Law). |

Hamish Forsyth Education Counsellor, New Zealand Embassy Beijing
Hamish Forsyth began as Education Counsellor at the New Zealand Embassy in Beijing in January 2007.
Previously, Hamish was based in Wellington as a Negotiator and Foreign Policy Officer with the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In this position, Hamish played a leading role in negotiating the services chapter of the China-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement.He also regularly represented New Zealand at meetings of the World Trade Organisation’s Council for Trade in Services in Geneva.Hamish led the establishment of, and chaired, the Geneva-based Plurilateral Private Education Negotiating Group, and led a team that authored a significant non-paper on assessing services trade commitments. |
Prior to this, Hamish was a Judicial Clerk (lawyer) assisting the Hon Justice Anderson DCNZM, who currently sits as a Justice of the Supreme Court of New Zealand.
Hamish has also held a part-time position as a Teaching Fellow at the Faculty of Law, Victoria University of Wellington.
Hamish attended the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand, where he graduated first in his class in law and received the degrees of LL.B.(First Class Honours) and B.A. (Philosophy). |
